Get your tree the old-fashioned way this year—and drink complimentary hot apple cider and take a hayride through Christmas trees while you are there! Types of trees available include Virginia Pines, Leyland Cypress, Carolina Sapphire, Arizona Sapphire, Red Cedars and Fraser Firs. Christmas at the Station

Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum

Bring the kids out to enjoy a 30-minute-long train ride on the festive Calera and Shelby train. Pop in for a visit with Santa and for photos on the museum grounds, too. Visitors can even enjoy a ride on the narrow-gauge stream train for a brief journey down Candy Cane Lane on the Shelby and Southern Railroad! All of these wondrous activities are included in ticket purchase prices. With lunch and snacks available at nearby food vendors on the grounds, a trip to Christmas at the Station is perfect for an all-day family get-a-way. Holiday Artist Market

Colonial Christmas Lunches and Tours

Meet patriots of the past, learn about Christmas traditions in the 18th Century, sing Christmas carols in the Colonial Chapel and share lunch with friends, family and coworkers in a replica of the East Room of the White House. Meadow Brook Runs
