1. Pre-Sunrise Hike to King’s Chair

Hosted by Oak Mountain State Park partner extraordinaire Zach Andrews and park naturalists, the pre-sunrise hike to King’s Chair will feature breathtaking views on what will be a great way to start the year. Participants will meet at the North Trailhead and will hike the Red Trail to the blue/red connector and continue on to King’s Chair. The hike will begin at 5:30 a.m. This hike is weather dependent. While everyone is welcome to attend, this is considered an intermediate or advanced hike for some. This hike is not stroller friendly. Attendees should wear warm clothing, bring a flashlight or headlamp, water, snacks and cameras should they want to take pictures. The hike is free other than park admission fees.

3. Chamber Night with the Bulls

Join the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce for a Birmingham Bulls game! Both investors and non-investors are welcome to attend, but everyone must register in advance here. Members’ fees are $20, and non-members’ fees are $30. Prices include admission to the game, food and a beverage.

4. Fourth Annual Forging Families 5K/10K/Fun Run
