How We Met

Thomas and I (Tarsi) met our freshman year of college at the loveliest village on the plains. War Eagle! Through his twin brother and my suitemate, we were set up to go to an Auburn football game together, and we didn’t truly bond until the last two minutes of the game where Auburn came back to win. In true Auburn fashion it was a roller coaster of a game, but we had the best time and knew a special connection had formed. Six and a half years later, Thomas proposed to me in an intimate gathering with our closest friends and family.

The Proposal

My family and I have spent many nights at Ragtime Café, and it holds a special place in my heart. Twenty-give years ago my parents would meet up with friends for dinner and carried on the tradition as the years have gone by. Thomas proposed to me at Ragtime’s event center. The next day, our friends and Thomas threw me the best surprise engagement party. Every detail was completely perfect down to the cosmic brownies, my favorite childhood snack.

Favorite Moment

When I saw my grandmother for the first time, it was such an emotional moment we got to share and the sweetest embrace. My other favorite part was dancing on the dance floor with my husband and all of our friends!

Favorite Details

The food! Thomas and I went to Italy for our five-year anniversary, and I also come from an Italian family. We had an Italian feast with all the signature dishes, a bread table with all the dipping sauces and a six-foot-long charcuterie grazing table.

What We Are Doing Now

We currently live in Chelsea Park. I am the shipping supervisor and customer service for These Three Boutique, and Thomas is an industrial engineer at Eissmann Automotive.
