Renata Oliveira & Eric Hoxter: A Chelsea Wedding

How You Met: We met online, and our first date was in Homewood – dinner at Jinsei. After our first date, we saw each other every day and very shortly after, we decided to be in a relationship. I (Renata) had kids from a previous marriage, and they loved him. They would ask about him every day. Four month later, I had a work conference scheduled at the beach and he went with me. Before we hit I-65 South, he took me to Diamonds Direct, and the diamond specialist had choices of rings ready that Eric had previously chosen for me to pick from.

Favorite Moment: Our wedding was super laid back. We did not do a formal dinner, and we had an open bar before the ceremony that was short and sweet. We just really wanted to spend time with family that came from out of the country and out of state and have the best time ever. My favorite moment was probably the speeches. Unforgettable.
