HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
Tyler and I met at Central Church of Christ during a Tide4Christ event in college. Tide4Christ is a Christian student organization through The University of Alabama. While in Tide4Christ, Tyler and I were in the same friend group, became friends and eventually started dating.
THE PROPOSAL
We had a little date day and decided to go for a walk around the lake after lunch. During the walk, music started playing, and Tyler asked me to dance. He then got down on one knee, said beautiful things that I can’t remember and asked me to marry him.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
Honestly, I would’ve never picked it out to try on myself. My younger sister, Sydney, who is a bridal consultant at Imperial Formal Wear, picked it out. When I put it on, I just knew! It flattered my figure well, and it gave me the shape that I was wanting. It had the perfect mix of lace and beading. It made me feel like a bride!
WEDDING PLANNING ADVICE
Take the time to really envision what you want before you start talking to vendors. You don’t want to lower your standards when you are looking for the person you want to marry, so don’t lower them for your wedding. Do your research! Know what you want, and then find the vendors that can make it happen!
