favorite moments:
Our first look—We met on a wooden bridge down in the middle of the fields. I (Hallie) loved being able to see where our ceremony was going to happen, and for us to be able to still feel like it was just the two of us out in the middle of nowhere spending that precious moment together. Andrew and I opened our gifts to each other and did our daily ritual of reading our devotional. We were not big on having a first look, but after spending that time together, our nerves seemed to die down and we could finally relax, knowing that it was our day and everything was working out perfectly.
Our ceremony—We had our ceremony down at the stone arch by the pond at Douglas Manor. Anyone who knows us knows we love being in and around the water, so that was the perfect spot. Our officiant, Pastor Kevin Carroll, knocked it out of the park. A few weeks before our wedding, he asked us to send him four words that expressed and described our love for one another. We wanted traditional vows, with a little something different, and we were absolutely blown away with how heartfelt and meaningful our vows were.
