Family fun on Fridays—how’s that for a tongue twister? This new downtown Calera festival will run February to November and feature food trucks, artists, vendors and entertainment. Plus merchants will be open late. A farmer’s market will be a part of the festivities April to October too. Parking is available at Calera Courtyard, 1120 17th Avenue. Cowboy shirts and a singin’ pedal steel are guaranteed for this vintage country and western show. There will only be a limited number of seats available with social distancing guidelines in mind for the seating chart, and masks are required by state mandate. Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum Train Rides

All aboard! The trains at the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum are running at reduced passenger capacities to accommodate for social distancing and abiding by all state mandates regarding mask wearing. 2021 Statewide High School Juried Art Exhibit
March 15-April 18

Come out to see work from most talented high school artists from around the state. Artwork will be on display until the closing reception and awards ceremony on Sunday, April 18 at 2 p.m. that is open to the public. This show is made possible by the UAB Department of Art and Art History and The University of Montevallo Department of Art.
Alabama Blues Project Band
