HOW DID YOU TWO MEET?
We met on an online dating app, Bumble. I got a notification letting me know that I had a match and opened the app, and there was Chris. He messaged me right away. A couple of days went by, and we decided we wanted to meet in person. We had our first date on June 29, 2021, at Beef ‘O’ Brady’s in Helena. That restaurant is our go-to place now!
THE PROPOSAL
Chris proposed on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Chris had always said he wanted the proposal to be meaningful. Tuesday nights have always been our date night since we started dating. The night of Tuesday, Jan. 3 seemed to be like a normal date night. We were sitting on the couch, and he told me he wanted the moment when he would propose to be unexpected and sentimental. At this time, my house was on the market. We made many memories together in that house. Chris wanted one last memory to be made there, so he proposed on the living room floor.
WEDDING DRESS DETAILS
I wanted something simple, classy and comfortable. I tried on about five dresses, but once I tried on the dress I picked, I just knew it was my dress! It was everything I wanted.
