Anna Porter & Trevor Tow: A Pelham Wedding

How You Met: Trev and I (Anna) met while working at Jim N’ Nick’s. One day out of the blue my cute supervisor asked me out! On our very first date, we went to see the movie of the year The Secret Life of Pets at the Summit in Birmingham. I was so nervous! After the movie, we walked around at the Summit, talking and getting to know each other while losing track of time.

The Proposal: One dog and two cats later, we found ourselves back at the Summit to see a movie. Similar to our first date, we walked around at the Summit afterward. Trev mentioned he was hungry and he wanted a piece of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory. We do this every now and then, so I didn’t think too much of it. So, we go to The Cheesecake Factory and walk over to a small lookout spot to see the city. We sit down on a bench and he tells me to open the cheesecake. I started crying as soon as I saw it. It said “Will you marry me?” on a piece of white chocolate. I would have said yes to Trev a long time ago, so I didn’t even let him finish talking before I agreed to marry him!

Favorite Moment from the Big Day: Our favorite moment from our big day was walking out of the ceremony together. Getting to see our all our family and friends together in one spot in support of us on our big day was really special for Trev and me. We were both so blissful and excited to start out loves together.
