3. Birmingham Bulls Hockey Games

5. Chris Bandi Band

Rising country star Chris Bandi proves that you can be a city boy and still find a home in country music. A singer and songwriter with a knack for personal stories and an evocative, slightly sandy voice, Bandi found an audience for his music with the 2017 digital smash “Man Enough Now. 6. Damon Johnson & The Get Ready

Fresh off the road with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Damon Johnson will rock the Black Box with a “semi-unplugged” version of his new band (ala “MTV unplugged”). Damon is a well-known guitar hero with credits that include Alice Cooper, Brother Cane, Thin Lizzy and more. To round out the night, Space of a Day, featuring superlative guitarist and producer Ben Trexel, will perform. Seating is limited. 7. Fall Foliage Special

Nov. 6 + 13 | 10 a.m. & 1 p.m.
Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum

Take in fall foliage as you ride the rails of the old Alabama Mineral Railroad through scenic Shelby County landscapes. While you’re at the museum in Calera, you can also get a ticket to ride the newly restored Shelby & Southern Narrow Gauge Steam Railroad and get your own souvenir Golden Spike. 8. Out of the Darkness Walk

Veterans Park, Hoover

Join hundreds of thousands of people to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention at this annual walk, held virtually this year. All funds raised go toward the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. 9. Act of Congress Christmas Show
