Jesica Moore & Brett Wallace: A Shelby County Wedding

How We Met: Both Brett and I (Jesica) would go to the gym at 5 a.m., and Brett was always reading a newspaper on the stair stepper. Who does that?! He would make me laugh, and our relationship grew from there. Brett’s account of the story is that I stalked him at the gym! Not true, but he’s always making me laugh.

The Proposal: Brett proposed in beautiful Key West! Always such a gentleman, he got down on one knee and popped the question, and a shooting star shot across the ocean sky. It was very romantic and sweet. Here’s a funny side note: Brett’s trusted friend apparently thought he lost the ring in the Atlanta airport on the way to Key West. After the proposal the story was told, and we have laughed about it to this day!

The Dress: My dress was designed by the exquisite Heidi Elnora Atelier as a custom Build-A-Bride dress. The Dutch satin is absolutely stunning, and the cathedral veil was a dream. Also we used the lace from my mom’s wedding dress for the cuff on my sleeves. It was so sweet and sentimental to me.

Favorite Moment: It was the feeling after saying “I do” and immediately having dinner together on the rooftop looking into the sunset. Also we loved the amazing dance party at the reception. Thank you WellDunn Entertainment for such a fun celebration!

Favorite Details: For me it was walking down the aisle with my dad to the song “Hallelujah” on strings, and the champagne cart at the ceremony. The flowers were amazing as were the beautiful chandeliers hanging from the sky, our watercolor save-the-date and the “W” ice sculpture.
